Someone recently asked me how I choose guests for the NNL podcast<\/a>. It may seem like I’ve hosted quite an eclectic group\u00a0of people, ranging from developers<\/a> to CEOs<\/a> to consultants<\/a>\u00a0to sex-tech innovators<\/a>.<\/p>\n The question caught me off guard. I realized I was just using my gut\u00a0to decide who to invite\u00a0on the show. But I had never really thought about how my gut was deciding.<\/p>\n I think I’ve figured it out.<\/p>\n People I meet generally fall into one of two categories: those who are walking towards<\/em> something, and those who are simply working<\/em>.<\/p>\n It’s a subtle distinction, but it makes all the difference.<\/p>\n
